Puppy Love,

One of our clients decided after doing his homework he was prepared to take on a Dealership. He knew what was going on, and wasn't going to let someone take him to the cleaners.

He was proud of himself. On his first day out he found a vehicle that he both liked and could just afford. It had taken him almost 8 hours in the Dealership to get to terms he could accept.

Now the proud owner of a new vehicle he takes it out and shows his family and friends. He babies it like it was a puppy, washing wiping, polishing and best of all showing off his new pride and joy. All this joy was about to come to a quick halt!

After having the vehicle for about 10 days he receives a call. His salesman asks him to bring the vehicle in for a recall that would only take 15 minutes. Upon arriving and entering the building he was confronted by not one, not two but three of the dealers management personnel.

He was told he would need to renegotiate the deal due to a lack of credit. He was going to have to accept a monthly payment increase of almost $85.00. Our client didn't know that this is a common trick of the dealers. Get the person to love that vehicle like it was a cute fuzzy puppy. Then take it away and watch how much they will pay to get their puppy back.
