Locating a reasonable yet dependable Toyota Camry was more work than my Mother and I had anticipated.

One particular 97 Camry we looked at was priced well below the wholesale value with only 28,000 miles. We were excited and were sure this was the one! However while test driving the car we noticed the ragged interior which was unusual for a new/low mileage car. Intuitively my Mother called Mike at Autotruth (using her mobile phone) to have him check the VIN number of the car. Mike discovered the car was last reported to have 78,000 miles Not 28,000. This was a complete shock, yet I was grateful to be saved from a horrible mistake.

From this point on Laura an employee of Autotruth, took the responsibility of finding a Camry for us. The first car she found was through a person who was unwilling to disclose the vehicles VIN number. When Laura went to test drive the car she was able to obtain the VIN number and call it in. She discovered the car had been purchased in California and was returned to the Dealer due to the Lemon Laws.

Laura located another Camry from a Dealer that looked very appealing. Laura was willing to pick up the car and take it to MY mechanic to be checked. This Camry however had an excessive oil leak which could lead to expensive repairs. Again we decided not to buy the car.

At this point I was extremely discouraged by these repeated fraudulent encounters. I considered abandoning my desire to own a Toyota Camry to explore other possibilities. However after several weeks of searching, Laura found a Camry with low mileage, was reasonably priced and was deemed worthy by our mechanic.

We are appreciative of Laura's persistence and dedication in searching for a Toyota Camry for us. My family and I are extremely pleased with my 97 Camry and the quality of service provided by Autotruth.
